This October, Boise will experience an unusual surge in the zombie population as the undead take the stage in Evil
Dead: the Musical! Based on Sam Raimi's cult classic Evil Dead series, this "bloody" hilarious musical unearths the
tale of five college students that travel to an abandoned cabin in the woods, accidentally unleashing an evil force
that turns them into demons. It's all up to mild-mannered Ash (a house wares employee, turned demon killing
hero), and his trusty chainsaw arm and double-barreled shotgun, or "boomstick," to save the day!
With direction by Jennifer Dunn and including a talented cast of characters, this outrageous and campy romp through the woods is chock-full of singing, dancing, blood-soaked zombies! Limbs are severed�demons tell bad jokes in between possessions�buckets of fake blood fly so far and with such frequency that the first five rows are dubbed the "splatter zone."
The songs in the show are completely off the wall as well. Titles like "All the Men in My Life Keep Getting Killed by Candarian Demons" and "Ode to an Accidental Stabbing" will have you rolling in your seats, and screaming for more and more! You don't need to be a fan of Evil Dead, horror or musicals to love this show. As long as you like having fun... this show is for you! See you at the cabin in the woods!

ABOUT the "SPLATTER ZONE":
The "splatter zone" is the first rows of the theater, where you are guaranteed to be covered in fake blood by the end of the performance. Those adventurous enough to sit in the "Splatter Zone" are encouraged to dress down. Don't wear anything that you mind getting blood on. Don't worry, our blood is a recipe made with safe, non-toxic ingredients. It washes out. We don't recommend that you eat it, however.
